Tracking Trends : Bridal Footwear
A lot of brides are going for a pop of color in their footwear now (a look I love), but it’s much harder to find a good, classic, white bridal shoe. Before my wedding, I dragged Ellie around a huge mall with me to find shoes (I knew I wanted comfortable flats) and checked everywhere from DSW to Off Saks. I finally settled on a $30 pair of cream leather ballet flats. But, if you want something more flashy or unique, here are some of my favorite choices:
(From left to right, top row first)
- Badgley Mischka - $215 — I love the pure, stark white and the whimsical floral detail on the heel.
- Badgley Mischka - $225 — This off-white color would be best with a less traditional dress.
- Kate Spade - $325 — Completely gorgeous and on-trend.
- Badgley Mischka - $215 — The most avant-garde choice for bridal footwear, but also the most fun. How cute are the pink pom-poms? Plus, you could wear these again.
- Benjamin Adams - $109 — Wedges are your best choice in the comfort department and the sparkly detail makes these wedding dress worthy.
- Martinez Valero - $145 — This style is my favorite bridal look: a classic kitten-heel pointy-toed shoe. The entire look so retro and chic—very Jackie O.
- Nina Paladin - $89 — The stand-out here is the huge, lovely bow.
